WATCH — Superchunk’s “Cloud of Hate” + Tour Dates

Superchunk’s “Cloud of Hate” is “a shout-along, fist-pumping burst of sharp, relentless pop punk energy, and a reminder that often the most powerful punches are the shortest and fastest.” Today, the What a Time to Be Alive cut (which features Pedro the Lion’s David Bazan on backing vocals) is given a music video treatment courtesy of Japanese visual artist Taiyo Kimura who includes a horse head, a room of limbs, the band being shattered to bits, and lots more mind-bending imagery in the clip.
